The latest Gulf news now has turned out to be the news of the whole world. The Burj Dubai now officially became the tallest building in the world when it opened on 4th January 2010. But Burj Dubai now is known as the Burj Khalifa. World’s tallest building Burj Khalifa with 160 floors is situated in Dubai and is now the pride of UAE. The height of Burj Khalifa is 818m 2,684 ft and has multiple uses too. It has become world’s No. 1 destination too. This is a luxury building as it is designed to include 30,000 homes, nine hotels, 7.4 acres of parkland, least 19 residential towers, the Dubai Mall, and a 30 acres man-made Burj Khalifa Lake. Thus, it is a symbol of luxury building of the world. This is also a tourism oriented building. It now has to be entered in the Guinness Book for its amazing height. It will be the most visited tourist spot of Dubai for a couple of years. And Burj Khalifa for business people is the main centre.

The elevator with the longest travel distance in the world is the thirteenth record. The tallest service elevator in the world grants it the fourteenth record and finally the fifteenth record of it is that it has the world’s highest installation of an aluminum and glass façade, at a height of 512 m (1,680 ft). Thus, it is greatly interesting to visit Burj Khalifa and its surroundings. With all these world records and the luxurious facilities in Burj Khalifa it is the most luxurious building of the world.

Burj Khalifa previously known as Burj Dubai was unveiled at a glittering ceremony by Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
